Editor's review
This is a software that converts images to PDF documents.
This software tool will convert multiple JPG files into PDF documents. You could, at your choice, create a multipage document or a single page PDF for every image. PDFs are the most acceptable document distribution format. PDFs are also easier to publish on the web. This software tool is a batch processor and makes it easy to convert a bunch of images at one time. The interface is designed to ease the process. The main work area is used to display a list of images you want to convert. Each image is listed along with data like how many frames the image has, its height and width. The controls by the side of it let you collect the files you want to process. You could change the order of the images so that you get the desired sequence of images in the PDF document. If things go wrong, you can delete the entire list and start over again.
The settings you can do are grouped under tabs. The tabs available are page size, page margin, image size, PDF meta properties and security settings. You are able to compress the images during the conversion process. The tool supports scanned images and works with Windows, right up to the Windows 7 (both 32 and 64 bit versions). You can specify prefix and/or suffix for automatic naming of the output files. A progress bar and a log functionality would have made this tool even more useful. Overall, this is a simple and handy tool.
